2013 is a year 100th anniversary of the world’s first successful plasmapheresis. It has been taken place in Russia in St. Petersburg in Medical Military Academy on February, 2nd (15), 1913. We invite you to take part in the International conference devoted to this event. Saint Petersburg is a major European cultural centre, and an important Russian port on the Baltic Sea. Saint Petersburg is often described as the Western styled capital of Russia. Among the cities of the world with over one million people population, Saint Petersburg is the northernmost. The Historic Centre of Saint Petersburg and Related Groups of Monuments considered as a World Heritage Site under UNESCO aegis. Saint Petersburg is also home to The Hermitage National Fine Art Museum - the largest art museum in the world. As a political and cultural centre for the Russian for 200 years, the city is sometimes referred as the Northern Capital of Russia. It has also been named as “the Venice of the north” and the “northern Palmira”. Saint Petersburg can offer not only a high class scientific and educational program but also an extraordinary ambiance for all participants of the Conference, where you can relax, meet old friends and deal with new ones, exchange ideas. We expect you to have a wonderful time in Saint Petersburg!
